Youmacon/Happy Halloween!

Hey everyone~! Happy Halloween! <3

It's been awhile since I've written a journal...I've been kinda busy too... =.= Is anyone going trick-or-treating today? Who/What are you going as? :D 

And Youmacon begins today! (Well, the free day is today.) Is anyone going to Youmacon at all? This'll be my first time going and it's also my very first time going to a con ever~! Let me know if you're going and who you're cosplaying as if you're going. ^-^ I'm going as Kyary Pamyu Pamyu from her song "Tsukema Tsukeru". It's pretty much done, I just have to add on the shoulder pieces. ^.^ I wore it to my Japanese club when they were having their "Cosplay Contest" and I won most creative cosplay. ^-^ And I wore it today for Halloween and I think my giant bow and skirt covered in Japanese snack bags caught alot of attention. X3 Hehe~ <3 I can't wait until Youmacon though~! Kyaa~!

I'm in the Mood to Dress Up/Cosplay!

Hey guys!
I'm actually typing this up mostly because I got tired of my last journal just sitting there...AND because I really needed to update my journal.. :\

Well, lately, I've been wanting to dress up and I've been really wanting to just go and buy something and even though I hate spending money...I think I have enough that I feel safe to actually spend it but just a certain amount. xD But I've just been getting inspired by all this photography and art and even the cuteness from Japan and I just want to dress up and take pictures~! So, I'm thinking of changing a section of my basement that no one really uses and actually turning it into a photoshooting area. I want to have a backdrop, props, and lights. So, that way I can use it for my art or if I want to use anyone as a model. But that's just a thought I'm having...I'm not even sure if it'll actually be made or, if I do make it, it may not be as good as it is planned in my head. xD

Another thing that I have been wanting to do lately was make a costume or something. Eventually, I want to create original costumes but as for now...I really want to try to make Kyary Pamyu Pamyu's Tsukema Tsukeru costume. I will be going to an Anime convention this year with my friends and I need someone to cosplay as! But, hopefully for this year's ethnic fair we can do this idea that my friend and I had to do a collaboration of Kyary Pamyu Pamyu's music for Japan's J-pop dance. We're gonna dress up all cute and crazy like Kyary and dance. And if any guys want to join us, we're gonna have them as the background dancers because I think Kyary always has male BG dancers and she has them dressed up all crazy, which I like. ;D If it all works out, this should be really fun. Hehe~ ;D

I GOT TAGGED A LONG TIME AGO~!!!

I got tagged by :iconfan-gogh: (2 times actually..forgot about the first one) but I also got tagged by :iconechoaftermidnight: awhile ago, but I forgot to do that one too...So, hopefully this can count for both. :) I'll be sure to put down some fairly interesting things about myself that not alot of people know. ^-^;


1. Before I learned/wanted to learn Japanese, I learned Chinese. :) I started to learn it by watching the show "Three Delivery" that took place in this "China Town" when three orphans got trained by their "Nana" to fight off all the evil that was done in the town. :) Another part of the reason I loved watching the show was because I had a crush on one of the brothers. xD Haha! I will have to draw him sometime. :) 

2. I am related to a Canadian Olympic runner. :) He's my father's dad, A.K.A. My grandfather. He once raced against Jesse Owens. Hitler said that a white man would win every time, but after that, Jesse Owens had run the race and won first place, putting my Grandfather (John Loaring) in 2nd place. ^-^ My Grandfather also served in the Royal Canadian Navy as a commander on the HMCS Hunter in WWII. :) And if I do remember correctly, he was also quite the artisit! ^-^ 

3. I did not have straight legs when I was a baby. They were Bow Legged. My mum actually got scared that I'd be like that forever. ^-^ Don't worry. They straightened up soon enough, before I even became a toddler. My legs are perfectly fine. I walk straight, I have perfect balance, a good posture, I dance and I'm a really fast runner like my Grandpa! :D Seriously...this is not a big deal. There are other babies like this... It only lasted a year or two. Maybe less than 2. xD I had straight legs pretty much my whole life. xD Calm down~!! XD

4. I use to lease a pony named Max! Everyone! Meet Max! He's a 10hh (4ft at his back), POA(Pony Of Americas), Gelding. ^-^ He came to the barn all skinny and weak in need of some attention. Everyone said I was really good with this stubborn little guy so, they'd pair me up with him at times. :) But, one day their owners left out of the state leaving him owner-less for anyone to take for free..., Of course I couldn't quite own a horse yet. They're too expensive. >.< So, they offered a lease with him and I took it. He got all fattened up and gained a bit more muscle. After 6-months of leasing him, it began to be a bit much. The ride to the barn got expensive (aprox. 40mins away) and so did his lease so, another girl leased him and soon owned him...so, he's no longer at the barn anymore.. :( And my parents won't let me get a horsie...they said that one day my husband will surprise me with one, because he'll love me so much! :D I can't wait!! Yee~! <3 XD But that's gonna take forever until I get my horse.. >.<



5. I got attacked by a St. Bernard when I was, like,  5 year-old...Long story...I was with my mum, going to pick up my brother from a friend's house and the friend's little brother asked if I wanted to see the new puppies the St. Bernard had and I said "Yes! ^-^" but the little brother opened up the door and out came this GIANT St. Bernard mother and she just jumped up and bit my face and I was screaming, trying to get away but I tripped on something so, I was back on the ground and finally my mother yelled at me to stand still...and I have no idea what happened after that, but the dog was gone and my face was dripping in blood and I remember they put soapy water on my face and rushed me to the hospital and I remember getting wrapped up in this taco, burrito thing xD and I had to get stitches on my nose, I SAW THEM SEWING MY NOSE! Dx But now all is well, I'm all healed, it's been years. xD...I remember being terrified of dogs after that but loving them at the same time... but, of course, now I'm not afraid of them anymore. I love dogs so much. <3 

6. I'm Caffeine Sensitive? Okay, so apparently...I was caffeine sensitive when I was younger...and apparently I still am...everyone says so...psh...I don't know what they're talking about! I SOOO can handle caffeine~~~. ;D Heh-heh-heh-heh~~

7. The bumpy textures of some Fabrics just make me...uhg~~ Okay, this one is hard to explain but it's something I'm OCD about. XD I cannot sleep well, in a bed with sheets or blankets that are bumpy from washing it too much. Y'know those little lint-ball thingies?!! *skin crawls* I can't even see how people can cuddle up in a blanket like that! You need soft blanket, not bumpy, grainy feeling blanket~~ I just need a certain grade of blankets and bed sheets to prevent that from happening or just as long as it doesn't have the little tiny lint-balls! Omg~ or if the bed feels crummy~! I hate that too... If it's my own bed, then okay...sweep out the crumbs but, anywhere else...mehh.. Especially after a shower...Or hotel rooms with certain carpet...or just certain hotels, period. HAHA!! Okeeyy~ I'm done complaining! XD

8. I started an Anime Club! About 2 years ago at my homeschool's co-op every Friday but, then I started to take art classes at the public schools and wouldn't be able to make it to the clubs anymore...*sigh* But, it's now being run by, I'd say, the first three members, I don't know... xD  I miss them all though!!! >.< Uhg!!

9. I don't like chocolate that much... I will eat Kit-Kats, Reese's, Chocolate Covered Rasins and drink Chocolate Milk and other exceptions, but, I'm not too big of a fan of chocolate...too much is just, bleh...Like, I wouldn't go for a chocolate cake nor would I ever buy a Hersey's Chocolate bar...I'll just stick with Gummy bears 'n such. <3

10. I love Kpop! My favorite Band would probably have to be BIGBANG even though I love all the other bands like Exo-K, SHINee, 2ne1, B.A.P. etc.. <3 I've been to BIGBANG's Alive Tour back in 2012. :) Got to see them LIVE! My cousins, mother and I were screaming out heads off. XD We're hoping to go to a K-pop Con some day. :) I also love Korean fashion! <333

1. Do you listen to music in a language that you don't speak?

Yes. :) Kpop, French, Italian, rarely Chinese, A couple Fillipino songs, and Jpop...but I do speak Japanese at times but, I'm just not fluent. ^-^;

2. Fave school subject?

Art & Japanese. :)

3. So you believe in superstitions? (e.g. black cats, ladders, etc...).

Yes and no~...I wouldn't go and test out/mess with all these superstitions but, I'm not afraid that something bad will happen to me if I ever came across one of the superstitions. 

4. Where was the last place you went on holiday?

On...a holiday? OH~! I went to Jamaica on the fourth of July? :) Th-that, counts, right?

5. Last thing you ate?

Pizza Popalis; the best pizza ever~! <3

Just one? Gosh~ This is hard because, I admire alot of artist...But here are just a small few~

Even Martial Arts! />.<\ He also seems to be good at every media so far. >.< I'd definitely like to try more medias like he has... But I think I'm really starting to like his photography and hopefully he'll do some more paintings. ^-^ He also has a great sense of humor. xD
